Nebraska Manufacturing Plant Cited for 23 Violations
A Valley business that makes grain bins has been cited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for 23 violations of workplace rules.
Bushnell Illinois Tank Co., which operates in Valley as Schuld/Bushnell, faces more than $142,000 in fines.
OSHA announced Friday that the plant had a willful violation for knowingly failing to protect workers in confined space, along with 20 serious violations, one repeat violation and one other-than-serious violation.
Bushnell has 15 days to respond to OSHA’s citation.
A message left Friday with company headquarters in Bushnell, Ill., wasn’t immediately returned.
