Arson Fires Burn 7 Campers at Ohio Storage Facility
Authorities say fires that burned seven recreational vehicles at a southwest Ohio storage facility were set deliberately.
The state fire marshal’s office said in a release Tuesday that six of the vehicles damaged or destroyed in Monday’s arson fires were together and one was on the other side of the lot. No injuries were reported.
Investigators found evidence of breaking and entering into other recreational vehicles at Southwest RV Service and Storage in Butler County’s Ross Township.
Township Fire Chief Steve Miller estimates the fires did hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. It took more than three hours to contain the flames.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to those responsible for the fires.
