Michigan Officials Aim to Reopen Burned Snowmobile Bridge
Officials say they hope to reopen a snowmobile bridge in western Marquette County, Mich., that was heavily damaged by arson over the summer.
WLUC-TV reports a detour currently is in use to get around the Carp River snowmobile bridge.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources said in a statement Friday that repairs will cost more than $20,000 or so.
The Hiawatha Trails Snowmobile Club has received thousands of dollars in donations to help repair the bridge.
Tips from the public are being sought for information about the fire.
