Man Crushed by Press Machine at St. Louis Company
An employee of a St. Louis, Mo., sign-making company died after being crushed by a press machine.
St. Louis fire battalion chief Tom McClain says an employee of Butler Merchandising Solutions died Tuesday evening after becoming trapped in machinery at the business.
His name was not immediately release.
McLain said it was unclear how the man became trapped in the press, which he described as the size of a pickup truck.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports other employees were inside the business at the time, but it was unclear if anyone saw the accident.
Butler Merchandising Solutions makes large signs and displays for grocery stores, bars and other clients.
