Iowa Trench Collapse Victim Identified
Waterloo, Iowa, authorities have released the name of a construction worker who died after a trench collapse.
The city director of fire services, Pat Treloar, identified the worker as 35-year-old Deea Lauritzen, of Jesup.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that the accident occurred Friday afternoon as Lauritzen was helping to install a sewer line as part of a housing project.
