Minnesota County Approves Golf Cart Travel
Stearns County is embracing a mode of travel more popular in Sun Belt states like Arizona or Florida.
Commissioners have approved use of lower-traffic county roads by golf cart drivers. Three cities in Stearns County – St. Joseph, Albany and Melrose – already allow the golf carts on city streets. But until now they have been prohibited on county roads.
