Compost Bin Blamed in North Dakota House Fire
A Bismarck home was damaged by an early morning fire, and firefighters believe it started in a compost bin on a porch.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that firefighters responded to the blaze early Friday morning.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and prevented it from extending to the rest of the building.
No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $35,000.
