Travelers Unveils New Web-Based Ocean Cargo Certificate Capability
Travelers Property Casualty Corp. will now provide Web-based ability to create and print Ocean Cargo Certificates of Insurance to its Ocean Cargo policyholders and their agents. In addition to the anywhere, anytime convenience of a Web-based application, this new on-line system allows agents, brokers and insureds the ability to:
— Easily enter information directly onto the on-line certificate
— View or void previously issued certificates
— Create customized reports of certificate data
Ocean cargo insurance covers various exposures related to the movement of goods. Customers for this coverage include manufacturers and wholesalers that import and export goods such as metals, textiles, plastics and other consumer products.
A personalized identification number is required for agent access to the Travelers Ocean Cargo Certificate Issuance System.
