Preferred Medical Claim Solutions Contracts with Paragon Benefits
Preferred Medical Claim Solutions (PMCS) (www.pmcsaz.com) recently contracted with Paragon Benefits Inc.(www.paragonbenefits.com), a Third Party Administrator
(TPA).
Paragon Benefits provides medical claim paying services on behalf of its Self-Funded Employer Groups throughout the United States. PMCS will now negotiate and fund Paragon Benefits’ out-of-network medical claims using the Advance Funded Provider (AFP) program through the PMCS Preferred Data Interchange (PDI). PDI was developed by PMCS and is compatible with numerous operating systems. PDI reportedly allows Paragon Benefits and PMCS to generate increased and substantial savings for their clients.
Paragon Benefits is owned by the Georgia Bankers Association
Insurance Trust. The GBAIT currently insures more than 250 community banks representing in excess of 9,000 employee
lives.
Generating more than $16 million in total assets, the GBAIT
provides financial backing to the customers of Paragon Benefits Inc. Paragon Benefits Inc. is one of two TPAs who are allowed to pay medical claims on behalf of BCBSGA.
