New Program for Specialty Trade Contractors Launched
A new group of territorial program administrators has introduced a program for specialty trade contractors involved in commercial and residential construction.
The group, Construction Insurance Solutions (CIS), is comprised of Dayton, Ohio-based Norman-Spencer, McKernan Agency Inc. (NSM), Houston-based RISC Inc. and Arthur J. Gallagher of Louisiana and the program is available in all states.
In a statement, the group said the program covers air-conditioning, concrete, electrical, excavators and land graders, fence, fire sprinkler, garage door, ground water drilling, heating and plumbing, landscapers, mechanical, nurseryman & landscapers, roofing, sheet metal, street and road, swimming pool and spas, system builders, and underground utility risks. The CIS program offers general liability occurrence form coverage with blanket additional insured, blanket waiver of subrogation and per project aggregate coverages available. The GL minimum is $2,500 with a property damage deductible.
The policy carries GL primary limits of $1 million/$2 million for product/completed operations and annual aggregates with a $5,000 minimum policy premium, as well as commercial umbrella limits up to $25 million. CIS said the program is being written with an “A++ XV”-rated carrier.
