Schinnerer’s Public Entities Department Adds More Coverages For All Types of PE
The Public Entities Department of Victor O. Schinnerer & Company (DBA Schinnerer Insurance Services) has announced several new lines of coverage for all types of public entities. Now available:
* Auto Physical Damage Insurance for vehicles such as trucks, buses, emergency vehicles, (including ambulances), fire trucks, police cars, and all types of mobile equipment. Single-unit and pooled entities will be considered for coverage. Coverage is available in all states on a non-admitted basis, except Massachusetts, where coverage is available on an admitted basis.
* Crime Insurance for all types of public entities. The policy offers protection against the most common fidelity threats, including losses due to employee dishonesty, credit card forgery, computer fraud and theft, disappearance and destruction of property – all on a single policy form. Coverage can be tailored to the needs of the client and is offered on an admitted basis in all states.
* Blanket Occupational Accident Insurance to help public entities with high workers’ compensation deductibles/self-insured retentions.
The accident-only reimbursement policy can help an entity buy down its deductible/SIR to a more comfortable level. Self-insured and risk-sharing organizations may find that this coverage can strengthen their chances of approval by a state workers’ compensation board or lower credit requirements imposed by their excess workers’ comp carrier.
* Accident & Health Insurance is also available to community organizations, youth sports teams made up of high schoolers or younger, children’s camps and licensed day care providers.
Target risks for the coverages include cities, counties, states and all types of special districts (transits, school districts, water/sewer authorities, etc.).
