Zurich Grows Hospitality, Leisure Coverages in Unveiling Specialized, Combined Endorsement
Zurich announced the launch of a new, specialized Hospitality/Leisure Industries Coverage Endorsement aimed at combining coverages for limited-service, full-service and resort companies in the hospitality and leisure industries.
Zurich is a major writer of hospitality business in the U.S. This new offering bundles a number of coverages typically available by separate endorsements into a single, easy-to-understand package. The package combines coverages most commonly requested by companies in the sector such as building ordinance coverage, with those Zurich reportedly believes are most important to the leisure and hospitality industries.
“We have experience in the hospitality and leisure segments and are committed to listening closely and responding to the needs of our customers,” said Robert Lindemann, president of Zurich’s Middle Market business unit. “By bundling a number of separate coverage endorsements into a single package, we are providing our leisure and hospitality customers with greater ease of use, an accelerated underwriting process and a powerful, one-stop product. Moreover, while the endorsement is intended to address their specific coverage needs, we continue to offer our well recognized loss mitigation knowledge, risk improvement programs and experienced claims handling.”
The Hospitality/Leisure Industries Endorsement offers a full range of coverages, including:
— Building Ordinance
— Guests’ Property
— Loss or Damage to Guests’ Autos and Other Property of Guests in their Autos
— Lost Master Key/Key-Card Coverage
— Customer Inconvenience Remuneration Expense
— Expediting Expense
— Food Contamination
— Spoilage
— Fire Extinguisher Systems Expense
— Merchandise Withdrawal Expense
— Services and Delivery Errors and Omissions
The endorsement is currently available in 45 states.
Coverages are underwritten by member companies of Zurich, including Zurich American Insurance Company. Certain coverages are not available in all states. Certain coverages may be written on a nonadmitted basis.
