GAB Robins North America Notes 120th Anniversary
In 2005, GAB Robins North America is celebrating 120 years of providing customers with quality claims services.
“2005 is a landmark year for GAB Robins North America,” said Jun Tsusaka, chairman, GAB Robins Group of Companies. “Very few companies have such a rich heritage and we’re extremely proud to have reached this historic milestone by continually providing expert claims handling and superior customer service.”
One hundred and twenty years ago in 1885, insurance industry leaders launched the first organized cooperative adjusting effort to better handle claims from major disasters.
Called the Western Adjustment and Inspection Company, through a series of mergers, the organization later became the General Adjustment Bureau (GAB) in 1959 and GAB Robins in 1995.
