Safelite Repair Leader Added to NWRA Board
David Erwin, the National Repair development manager for Safelite AutoGlass, was recently elected to the board of directors for the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA), a non-
profit trade organization that represents the windshield repair industry.
Erwin, who has been with Safelite for seven years, was named to the board at the organization’s May 23rd annual meeting.
“The NWRA is an important organization that provides advocacy, a unified voice and networking opportunities for its members and the
auto glass repair industry,” said Erwin. “It is an honor for me to be an
active part of this team and to represent Safelite and the repair industry.”
The NWRA was founded in 1994 and promotes the windshield repair industry, provides members with a forum for idea exchange,
serves as a source of information regarding windshield repair and
provides a grassroots effort to influence the governmental agencies
responsible for establishing regulations for the windshield repair industry.
Erwin began working for Safelite as a repair market manager in New Orleans in 1998. He then served as a regional manager before moving into his current role as National Repair development manager.
