A.M. Best announced that a number of leaders of its insurance ratings team will address a variety of important property/casualty market issues in an online briefing set for today, Wednesday, September 24 at 9 a.m. Eastern time.
Participation in the webinar is free and requires registration.
Best said its “rating officers plan to discuss A.M. Best’s perspective on several issues, including:
— The current state of the U.S. and global insurance property/casualty markets in the light of recent important market events.
— The impact of recent hurricane activity with a special emphasis on developments following Hurricane Ike.
— Status of A.M. Best’s rating of the AIG organization.
— The impact Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and AIG on the investment portfolios and balance sheet strength of insurers.
— Other topics as warranted.”
