W. R. Berkley Appoints McPherson Vice President
W. R. Berkley Corp. announced the appointment of Robert L. McPherson as vice president. The appointment is effective immediately.
He will lead the corporate team responsible for providing technical expertise and advice in designing and implementing predictive modeling at the insurer’s operating units.
McPherson has nearly 30 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance industry, including 15 years of modeling and research experience. Prior to joining W. R. Berkley Corp., he directed various teams of data scientists and business analysts responsible for predictive modeling, GIS analysis, data quality assessments, statistical outlier detection, and other analytical processes at a large national insurance company.
