RYTECH Announces Leadership Appointments
Georgia-based RYTECH, a national provider of water damage mitigation services to property insurers, announced that Jay Straughan has joined the company as chief operating officer.
Straughan brings more than twenty-four years of claims leadership and a track record of successfully growing services businesses to the newly created position.
Straughan will be responsible for sales, marketing, HR and finance, and will work closely alongside CEO William D. “Bubba” Ryan and Randy Kerlin.
In addition, Randy Kerlin, formerly VP Business Development, was promoted to executive vice president of Operations.
Kerlin’s promotion helps to continue the growth of operations in the company’s home office and throughout the country. He has worked for Tower Hill Insurance Group where he was responsible for claims vendor management. Previous to Tower Hill, Kerlin held positions in claims at State Farm Insurance Company and Farmers-Foremost Insurance.
Kerlin will be responsible for all business operations throughout the company and will manage several key accounts as well. Randy also reports to the CEO.
