Zurich Broadens Claims Capabilities to Support Construction Business
Zurich U.S. announced changes to its specialty claims structure to support its construction business.
The changes include the creation of a new role, head of U.S. construction, energy and marine claims.
The carrier named Nick Alberts to the post. Alberts has 17 years of Zurich claims experience.
Three claims roles connected to Zurich’s construction business now report to Alberts: head of marine and energy, head of construction defect and head of construction professional liability.
Alberts will work with the Tobias Cushing, Y.S. head of construction, and Kelly Kinzer, global head of construction and surety.
Zurich has had a distinct construction vertical for more than 25 years. Zurich U.S. is part of Zurich Insurance Group. Zurich U.S. employs nearly 9,000 people in the United States.
