Marsh Names Gulati-Kapoor Chief Claims Officer
Marsh named Chetna Gulati-Kapoor global chief claims officer, Marsh Risk.
The appointment is effective September 1. Gulati-Kapoor will be based in London, and will report to John Donnelly, president, global placement, Marsh Risk.
Gulati-Kapoor will lead Marsh Risk’s global claims. She succeeds Rob Powell, who has was named chairman, global claims, Marsh Risk.
Gulati-Kapoor’s 20-year career has focused on helping clients navigate loss events and achieve claims resolutions. She has worked in private practice in India and the U.K., followed by experience across various insurers in the U.K. She joined Marsh in 2021 from CNA Hardy, and was most recently Marsh Risk’s global claims advocacy leader.
Marsh LLC is a professional services firm headquartered in New York City, with operations in insurance brokerage and risk management. It is a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan.
