Fisher Approves Declaration for State Farm
Oklahoma Commissioner Carroll Fisher approved an application by State Farm Insurance to use emergency adjusters to expedite claims settlements following weekend storms earlier this month that caused wind and hail damage across Oklahoma.
State Farm alone estimates its auto and homeowners claims will amount to $1.6 million. The company insures one in four Oklahoma homes and one in five autos.
“This shows how expensive a typical spring storm in Oklahoma can be and why it is important to carry insurance on your home and belongings,” Fisher said. “Of course, we stand ready to help with the claims process in any way possible.”
