ACS Gains Contract with La. for Processing and Call Center Services
ACS, a provider of business process and information technology outsourcing solutions, has signed a three-year contract with the State of Louisiana Office of Group Benefits (OGB) for health claims processing and customer services. OGB is responsible for administering healthcare benefits for state employees.
Under the contract, ACS will provide a range of claims processing and call-center services using OGB’s applications. ACS will provide overflow processing for those claims not processed internally by OGB and provide call center operations for all of OGB’s provider community. The services will be performed at ACS’ Claims Administration Center in Tallahassee, Fla.
“ACS continues to leverage its experience in commercial, workers’ compensation and behavioral health claims processing, and call center services, on behalf of clients nationwide,” said Harvey Braswell, Group president of ACS State Healthcare Solutions.
