Oklahoma Restaurant Assoc. Endorses Great Central
Great Central Insurance Company, a member of San Antonio-based Argonaut Group Inc.‘s Specialty Commercial segment, announced it was named the endorsed insurance company for the Oklahoma Restaurant Association (ORA) property and casualty program.
Founded in 1933, the ORA, one of the oldest restaurant associations in the country, represents over 4,500 Oklahoma member restaurant properties.
Ed Slyman, chairman of the ORA Insurance Committee, stated, “The ORA is very excited about the opportunity to partner with a company that shares our commitment to the restaurant industry. While we were very impressed with Great Central’s broad coverage and competitive products, it was their reputation for commitment to our industry and their willingness to work closely with our members and us that distinguished them from other potential partners.”
“This is a tremendous opportunity for Great Central,” said John Polak, president of Great Central Insurance. “The ORA is an extremely professional trade organization with a long history of commitment and service to the industry. We look forward to combining our unique products and services with a solid portfolio of other member services currently provided by the association. This partnership will enhance both of our organizations.”
As the exclusively endorsed carrier, Great Central will offer its specialized restaurant package, commercial auto and umbrella coverage to ORA members. These policies will be distributed through its select statewide network of agents specializing in restaurant insurance.
Great Central is celebrating its 70th year as a leader in insurance and risk management services to the restaurant and hospitality industry. Great Central is the endorsed carrier of a number of state restaurant and trade associations.
