Caliber’s First Annual North Texas Charity Golf Tourney Raises More than $24,000 for Hospitals

Caliber Collision Centers, an Irvine, Calif.-based operator of high-quality collision repair facilities in California and Texas, sponsored its first Annual North Texas Charity Golf Tournament held in Euless, Texas on June 17, to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Started in 1983, Children’s Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization with local groups across the country that raise funds for area children’s hospitals. Each year these non-profit hospitals provide the finest care, research, and community outreach to help millions of children with diseases and injuries.

Caliber’s First Annual North Texas Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $24,000 to benefit Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth.

“We are thrilled that our first fund-raising tournament was a success for the Children’s Miracle Network and local pediatric hospitals,” said Mark Sanders, vice president for Caliber’s Texas operations. “Cook Children’s Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center Dallas are critical resources in the North Texas area. With the work done by the Children’s Miracle Network as well as other event sponsors, vendors, associates and volunteers, we are able to make a difference in the lives of many of the children in the community where we all do business.”

Children’s Miracle Network was created to help make state-of-the-art medical care available to all children. Today, Children’s Miracle Network has raised $2.2 billion for 170 children’s hospitals throughout North America.
