Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake Hits Lincoln County, Oklahoma
Oklahoma has recorded another earthquake. The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit Lincoln County on Feb. 27, but no injuries and little property damage are reported.
The agency said the earthquake hit about three miles east of Sparks about 4:22 p.m. Saturday. Sparks is between Chandler and Meeker.
A Lincoln County 911 dispatcher said no injuries and only minor property damage were reported.
People also reported feeling the temblor in Norman, Prague, Seminole, and as far as Tulsa.
Jones, Okla., in the central part of the state has recorded numerous small earthquakes during the past year.
