3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded in Arkansas
An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 has been recorded near Greenbrier, Ark.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports the earthquake occurred at 5:07 a.m. Oct. 14 about two miles west of Greenbrier. No injuries or damage have been reported.
Greenbrier is about 10 miles north of Conway and 35 miles north of Little Rock.
Researchers say quakes of 2.5 to 3.0 magnitude are typically the smallest felt by humans.
