Texas Company Recalls Parsley, Cilantro
A Texas produce company is voluntarily recalling curly parsley and cilantro after confirmation from regulators of a positive test for salmonella on curly parsley in Quebec and cilantro in Detroit.
Edinburg, Texas-based J&D Produce Inc. says it’s recalling those two items packed on Nov. 30 and Dec. 6, as well as several other produce items run on the same packing lines.
Those items include arugula, leek, collards, curly mustard, gold beet, kale, green swiss chard, plain mustard, plain parsley, kohlarabi, rainbow swiss chard, mint, methileaf, beets, daikon, red swiss chard, turnips, turnip greens and dill.
Products are packed under the Little Bear brand.
