Oklahoma Man Pleads Guilty to Arson Charge
A former Bartlesville, Okla., restaurant owner has pleaded guilty to arson in connection with a 2009 fire that damaged the historic May Brothers Building in downtown Bartlesville.
Robert Boyce was sentenced to 15 years in prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to charges of arson, conspiracy, manufacturing methamphetamine, filing a false insurance claim and illegally concealing hazardous waste. He was also ordered to pay $759,000 in restitution and $105,000 in fines.
Among the businesses in the building were Boyce’s Robert’s Restaurant and May Brothers Clothing Store.
