Louisiana Driver Booked With Fourth DWI in 5 Months
A 22-year-old LaPlace man was booked with his fourth DWI in five months.
Louisiana State Police say Justin Michael Clement had a toddler under the age of 5 with him in the car at the time.
According to the arrest report, Clement had blood-shot eyes and smelled faintly of alcohol. He also performed poorly on a field sobriety test. Clement’s blood alcohol was .064, under the .08 legal limit.
Blood and urine samples were taken. Those test results are pending.
The Times-Picayune reports that Clement was booked Sunday with DWI-fourth arrest, DWI-child endangerment and driving with a suspended license.
Clement was still being held Tuesday at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna on a $55,250 bond.
