2 Hurt When Golf Cart Falls Off Texas Bridge
An accident at a Texas golf course has left a man and his son hurt after their golf cart went off a bridge and fell about 30 feet.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened late Sunday the River Plantation course in Conroe. The golf cart ended up on some rocks in a creek.
Authorities say the 36-year-old father was critically injured and has been transported to a hospital. Officials with Memorial Hermann Healthcare System did not immediately return a message Monday about his condition.
Officials say the man’s son suffered minor injuries.
Investigators believe one of the golf cart’s wheels slipped off a track, the father overcorrected and the vehicle went through a guard rail.
A message left with the River Plantation Country Club was not immediately returned.
