Oklahoma State Troopers on Patrol During Holiday Weekend
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says troopers will be visible over the July 4th holiday weekend to help keep motorists and others safe.
Col. Ricky Adams says troopers will be conducting DUI and saturation patrols and looking for violations such as speeding, failing to wear seatbelts, failing to properly restrain children in safety seats and operating motor vehicles and vessels while under the influence.
Authorities say that from July 3 to July 7, 2013, there were four motor vehicle collision deaths and two drowning deaths.
