Arrest Made in Fla. Arson
A 54-year-old Bartow, Florida man has been arrested in connection with a house fire.
Investigators with the state’s Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigations arrested Larry Earl Davis, of 260 Van Fleet Rd., Apt. 5, Bartow this week on one count of arson for allegedly setting fire to an unoccupied wood frame home. The fire occurred late Monday night at 1630 Oeleander Place. The fire caused approximately $75,000 in damage, and there were no injuries reported.
Investigators believe Davis was attempting to destroy the home because of a property dispute.
