ADESA Makes Managements Changes In Ga., Fla.
Carmel, Ind.-based vehicle auction services firm, ADESA Corp., announced a number of management changes in the Southeast region.
It promoted Jason Brinkley to the position of general manager for ADESA Atlanta. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Brinkley began his career with ADESA Indianapolis in 1995 as the auction’s reconditioning manager. In 2001, Brinkley became the general manager for ADESA Orlando-Sanford.
“We are thrilled to have Jason running ADESA Atlanta,” said Jim Hallett, president and chief operating officer for ADESA Corp. “Jason’s auction experience and the enthusiasm he brings to the job is outstanding and I believe he will further develop and positively contribute to the success of our newest auction in the southeast.”
In addition to overseeing operations at the new ADESA Atlanta in Fairburn, Ga., Brinkley will work closely with David Bynum, ADESA’s director of Heavy Duty Trucks and general manager of ADESA Atlanta’s Heavy Duty Truck and Equipment auction located in Newnan, Ga.
“This is a very positive move for Jason and ADESA Atlanta,” Bynum said. “Jason’s expertise and operational knowledge is a benefit to us and I’m pleased to welcome him to Atlanta.”
Both Bynum and Brinkley will report to Don Harris, Southeast regional vice president for ADESA.
Jeff Raynor, former general manager of ADESA Ocala will replace Brinkley as general manager for ADESA Orlando-Sanford. A 1986 graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., Raynor has over 20 years of vehicle remarketing experience both as a customer and independent used vehicle dealer. He has been employed by ADESA in several capacities since 2001.
“Jeff brings a wealth of auction experience to the Fla. market,” Hallett said. “Now he will have the opportunity to run a diversified sale with a remote, fixed site and heavy-duty truck auction all under one roof. I am excited that he will be growing his career with ADESA.”
Former ADESA Ocala sales manager, Gay “Gaytor” Daniels will take Raynor’s place as general manager for ADESA Ocala. Daniels who joined ADESA Ocala in 2000 as the auction’s Inside Sales Representative possesses more than 25 years of experience in the wholesale vehicle industry.
“With her promotion, Gaytor will combine her life-long northern Fla. dealer experiences with general management at one of the most successful auctions in northern Fla.,” Hallett said. “Her business knowledge, expertise and talent will serve ADESA Ocala well and I am happy that she will continue to serve on their management team.”
