Crawford Awards Dover, Boyle for Work
Atlanta-based Crawford & Company has named Linda Dover and Jeff Boyle, posthumously, as the winners of its 2004 Virginia Crawford Distinguished Service Award.
Dover is a care manager in Crawford’s Tampa Healthcare Management branch. Boyle was the Claims Management Services branch manager of Victoria, British Columbia until he passed away earlier this year.
“These two individuals touched so many lives. They truly exemplify excellence in everything they touch,” said Tom Crawford, president and CEO. “I am extremely impressed with the talent, quality, and contributions of the people we have at Crawford & Company. The task of choosing just two winners proved to be very difficult.”
The Virginia Crawford Distinguished Service Award, named for the late wife of Crawford founder Jim Crawford, is presented annually to two individuals within the entire Crawford employee base, who have significantly contributed to the company, have far exceeded standards in self development, and have had a notable impact in their community.
A reception was held at Crawford’s Home Office in Atlanta on Dec. 3, 2004. Dover and Boyle’s wife each received a $10,000 cash prize, a crystal excellence award, and an all-expense paid weekend in Atlanta.
