Storm in Georgia Damages Dozens of Mobile Homes
Georgia authorities say tornadoes apparently caused storm damage in Hall and Jackson counties.
The severe weather on Aug. 26 caused no deaths.
In Hall County, a funnel cloud was spotted at about 4:30 p.m. According to Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle, two schools — Oakwood Elementary and Lyman Hall Elementary — had roof damage.
He said no one was injured.
In Jackson County, high winds damaged about 40 mobile homes in Commerce and left two people injured.
