Suspect Sought in String of Fires in Alabama
The city of Red Bay, Ala. is turning to the public for help in solving a string of suspicious fires in September.
All the blazes occurred from Sept. 17-22.
Red Bay Police Chief Pat Creel said someone deliberately set fire to a school teacher’s car, a house on Franklin 124 and a building at Red Bay High School. Creel said the fire caused minor damage to the structure.
Creel is asking citizens not be afraid to report anything they see or hear.
The state Fire Marshal’s office is assisting in the investigation.
