Florida CFO Recovers $14 Million in Claims, Premiums for Consumers

Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink reported that the Department of Financial Services helped recover more than $14 million for Floridians in 2008. Recoveries included claim payments and premium refunds for all lines of insurance that consumers sought the department’s help collecting.
