A Suwanee, Georgia-based demolition company has been hit with more than $53,000 in penalties after a teenage worker fell to his death.
The fines were proposed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration against Demon Demo Inc. for violating child labor laws.
OSHA said the violations are connected to the Nov. 2008 death of 16-year-old Luis Montoya at Gwinnett Place Mall
The company has 15 days to contest the citation and penalties to the agency.
