Six Flags Amusement Park in Georgia Under Floodwaters
Six Flags amusement park looks more like a water park.
The west Georgia theme park iwas under several feet of water this week, and aerial shots showed towering roller coasters peeking out of murky brown floodwaters.
Park spokesman Kendell Kelton says the attraction is still planning to open Saturday, but said workers will be checking the water levels and tracking conditions before revving up again.
The storms dumped more than a foot of rain on parts of metro Atlanta after days of sustained rainfall had already left much of the city waterlogged.
