Nationwide Insurance Donates $50K to Red Cross for Georgia Flood Victims
The Nationwide Insurance Foundation said it will donate $50,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which helps to provide shelter, food and other assistance to victims of disasters like the Georgia floods.
The American Red Cross is providing aid to Georgia residents and communities as they recover from recent storms which caused devastating flooding last week.
“We have confidence that our longtime partner, American Red Cross, will make the most of these funds to provide assistance to the communities hardest hit by last week’s storms,” Terrance Williams, regional vice president of southern states.
Previously this year, the Nationwide Insurance Foundation donated $1.7 million to the American Red Cross.
