The 2012 America’s Transportation Awards competition has chosen two Kentucky highway projects for recognition for excellence.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the projects, in Lexington and Bowling Green, eased chronic traffic congestion and increased safety.
The regional awards were presented Wednesday in Lexington for the U.S. 68 Double Crossover Diamond in Lexington and the William H. Natcher Parkway Extension project in Bowling Green.
