Vandals Damage, Shatter Windows in Northwest Georgia
Authorities say windows at between 35 and 40 businesses in Dalton, Ga., have been damaged or shattered by vandals.
Police spokesman Bruce Frazier tells the Dalton Daily Citizen the suspects either shot or threw rocks at the businesses early Tuesday morning and there were no reported injuries.
Police say they found marbles near some of the broken windows, and surveillance footage from several cameras show a car driving by some of the businesses that were targeted. Authorities are working to get a more detailed description of the vehicle and possible suspects.
Frazier says nothing was stolen from any of the businesses that were targeted.
Dalton is about 90 miles northwest of Atlanta.
