West Virginia Receives Federal Grant for Storm Cleanup
West Virginia has received a $250,000 federal emergency grant to help pay for storm cleanup and recovery.
The U.S. Department of Labor says Workforce West Virginia plans to use the funding to create temporary jobs helping with cleanup and recovery efforts in Roane County.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency declared Mason and Roane counties eligible for public assistance on July 26.
Storms in mid-June caused flooding, landslides and mudslides.
