HomeCare Connect Names Kasmir CFO

Gail Kasmir, CPA, CGMA has joined HomeCare Connect as its chief financial officer. The Maitland, Fla.-based company provides national home health services, medical equipment and home modifications in the workers’ compensation industry.

Kasmir has worked with HomeCare Connect on an outsourced CFO basis for the past four years.

Most recently, Kasmir owned and managed Forensic, Litigation, and Accounting Consultants, PLLC in Orlando.

She brings a strong insurance background to the position, having previously been the director of accounting and financial reporting for an insurance provider in Central Florida. She also has accounting and compliance experience with a Securities and Exchange Commission-registered company with seven subsidiaries. Kasmir started her career with Ernst and Young, CPAs in Orlando.

Kasmir graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Accounting. In addition to Certified Public Accountant, she holds a number of professional certifications encompassing financial forensics, valuation analysis and fraud examination. She was designated a Chartered Global Management Accountant by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
