Monitor Liability Expands to West
Monitor Liability Managers Inc., a subsidiary of W.R. Berkley Corporation, announced that it will be actively pursuing additional business opportunities in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Leading this effort are Thomas M. Hayden, Timothy J. Kerber, and Christine C. Opsahl, all of whom joined Monitor to open a branch underwriting office in Denver, Colo. The office will be responsible for directors’ and officers’ liability and employment practices liability in the Western region.
With more than10 years of professional liability underwriting experience, Hayden joins Monitor as assistant vice president of Underwriting, in charge of the Western region’s operations.
Kerber joins Monitor as regional underwriting executive and brings with him both underwriting and brokerage experience. He has been active in the professional liability market since 1994.
Opsahl joins Monitor as senior underwriter, with a broad range of underwriting experience including professional and management liability products. She has more than six years of underwriting experience.
