IVANS Networking to Offer ‘Business Continuity Check-Up’ at 75th Annual IASA Trade Show
IVANS will be conducting Business Continuity Check-Ups for insurance companies at the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) trade show June 1-4 in Denver. These Check-Ups will allow attendees to gauge how prepared their company’s networks are in the event of a disaster.
The Business Continuity Check-Up consists of a series of questions that will uncover where an insurance company’s initial strengths and weaknesses exist.
Key areas addressed will be how redundant network connections are configured, a company’s ability to quickly support mobile end-users at home or from a remote location, and a review of how claims are processed to support policyholders during critical emergencies.
“Part of any sound networking infrastructure solution is having critical back-up mechanisms in place should primary connections go down,” said Clare DeNicola, senior vice president for IVANS Networking. “Key to the execution of any disaster recovery plan is implementing a business continuity solution that adds redundant network connections which allows insurance companies the ability to remain operational at all times.”
