ATF Notes $5,000 Reward in Calif. High School Fire; Estimated Damages at $225,000
Acting Special Agent in Charge Karl Anglin of the San Francisco Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), announced that ATF is posting a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fire that occurred at Foothill High School in suburban Pleasanton.
ATF and the Pleasanton Police and Fire Departments are investigating the Jan. 22 fire that caused an estimated $225,000 worth of damage to Foothill High School. The ATF reward is in addition to the $5,000 being offered by the Pleasanton Unified School District.
“We are all impacted when a school is attacked,” Anglin said. “We urge anyone with any information to please contact ATF or the Pleasanton Police Department. We will follow up on any and all leads reported to us.”
