ATF Offers $5,000 Reward in Oak Park Firebombing Investigation
Special Agent in Charge Paul Vido of the San Francisco Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), reported that ATF is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a Jan. 15 firebombing in Oak Park, Calif.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. when a number of Molotov cocktail-type devices were thrown at a residence on Third Street in Oak Park. Some of the devices ignited, starting a fire.
Sacramento Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire quickly, and described the damage as “minimal.”
