Couple Sue Wyoming Resort Over Ski Injury
A couple is suing Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, saying a ski binding caused severe injuries when it failed to release during a fall on a ski run.
The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports Lawrence and Ann Cohn of New York filed suit Monday in district court. The Cohns say they rented ski equipment from the Four Seasons ski shop while visiting Teton Village in 2008.
The lawsuit alleges Ann Cohn was skiing on an easy run and the ski binding “inexplicably” failed to release during a “routine fall.” The lawsuit says Cohn dislocated her knee and her tibia broke into 40 pieces.
Four Seasons officials said they hadn’t been notified of the lawsuit.
The Cohns are seeking financial damages including past and future medical expenses.
