Furniture Donated in Washington Came With Bed Bugs
Mike Chapman was grateful for the donated furniture he and his fiance received after a fire last June destroyed their apartment in Spokane, Wash.
But not long after they moved their three children to a new place, they discovered they had bed bugs.
KREM reports they threw out the furniture, laundered all their clothes and moved again. But they still had bed bugs, which are notoriously hard to eradicate.
Pest control company EnviroPro came to the rescue. Operator Raymond VanderLouw donated an extermination as part of a national charitable event called “Taking the bite out of the holidays.”
