Police: 2 New Mexico Men Sabotaged Domino’s Computer Systems
Police say two Roswell men are suspected of sabotaging computer systems of 13 different Domino’s Pizza stores and causing around $100,000 worth of damage.
Roswell police told the Roswell Daily Record that the suspects gained access to the Domino’s website over the New Year’s holiday and caused damage to the ordering, coupon specials and the inventory tracking systems.
Roswell police spokeswoman Sabrina Morales says the suspects didn’t steal anything but the Michigan-based Domino’s was unable to make payroll for some employees because of the sabotage.
Authorities say one of the suspects was a former employee of the pizza chain.
Police say charges are pending as officials try to determine the final dollar amount of damage.
Domino’s said it was waiting on charges to be filed before commenting.
